Harrinson's Caps operates the online store at harrinsons-caps.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have written it in plain language on purpose.

Who we are

Harrinson's Caps, established in the State of Wyoming, United States, is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at any time at support@harrinsons-caps.com.

Our store runs on Shopify, which hosts the site and processes orders on our behalf.

What we collect

  • Contact details — your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and phone number where you give it.
  • Order information — what you bought, what you paid, and the status of your order.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Device and usage information — your IP address, browser type, the pages you visited and how you arrived at our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Correspondence — the messages you send us and our replies.

Why we use it

  • To take payment, prepare your order and get it to you.
  • To answer your questions and handle returns, exchanges and guarantee claims.
  • To send order confirmations and shipping updates. These are service messages, not marketing.
  • To send marketing emails, but only if you have asked for them. You can unsubscribe from any of them, at any time, and we will stop.
  • To detect and prevent fraud.
  • To understand how our site is used, so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the parties who make the shop work:

  • Shopify — hosting, order processing and storefront infrastructure.
  • Payment providers — to take and verify payment.
  • Shipping carriers and fulfilment partners — to deliver your order.
  • Email and analytics providers — to send order updates and to measure site performance.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies: small files stored by your browser. Some are strictly necessary — they keep your cart working and let you stay logged in. Others help us measure traffic or support advertising.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, parts of the shop will stop working.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to fulfil the order, honour the guarantee, and meet our tax and accounting obligations — generally several years. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

The rights listed above come from the GDPR. We rely on the performance of our contract with you to process orders, on our legitimate interests to prevent fraud and improve the shop, and on your consent for marketing and non-essential cookies.

International transfers

We are established in the State of Wyoming, United States, and your information is processed there as well as in the other countries where our service providers operate. If you order from outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where privacy law differs from that of your own country. Where this happens we rely on the safeguards offered by our providers, including standard contractual clauses where they apply.

Children

Our store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
